WeEk 6 . . ! !

Indeed in this week, we got our first group project. The projects ask us to search about one organization that use IS for organising and IT to coordinate. But my group member, Sithu Tun, Zain Ahmed, Miss Humaidah Hayih has decided to create our own company that use this kind of program. In that project we have to write a project proposal for organization or a company. 

WeEk 7 . . ! !

We decided to continue our lesson in the library as well as our air-conditioner in our class at ICT building was not working. So we just go to the library. At there, Sir Azzamudin gives us an exercise about IT. Actually, this exercise is a kind of practices to get us prepared for our exam and test. So with this kind of exercise, we can be more ready to face our exam. We supposed to done this exercise as an individual work. But we still discuss it. By the ways, the exercise didn’t give us mark. It is just a tool for us to be more understood in topic ICT & IT. We also have shown our group project progress to our lecturer. We ask him whether we are on the correct track or not. If not, we have to make some correction on that project. And our lecturer has asked us to make some correction because our work papers are not good. He asks us to add more about the types of Information System. So we have to correct it back. We also mentioned about the scope, system design, IT Infrastructure, IT Personal, and also budgets for the whole projects.

WeEk 8 . . ! !

Information System Methodology. You know what is this thing? By the way, in this week we still continue our lecturer at the library. We have been asked to form a group of 3-4 people. Then we have to search about this topic. Actually, Information System Methodology is a collection of procedures, techniques, tools and documentations which help the systems to develop their efforts to implement a new information system. This system also have been develop to  encourage a system atic approach to information system planning, analysis and design. It is also more same like helping in making decisions. Information System Methodology also help to collect procedures, tools & documentation aids which is more like helping system developers to implement a new information.

WeEk 9 . . ! !

We still continue our class at the library as well there is still no air-conditioner in our class at ICT building. So we decided to go to the library again and precede our lesson there. In this week, our lecturer has talk about our second group project. So that’s mean we got our second group project. We have to submit it before our final exam in week 12. We have to create a Google Website. We also are required to sharing our experiences and points of view by using this kind of IT system.

WeEk 10 . . ! !

Finally in this week, we start our group project 2. Our lecturer brings us to the library. At there, we were asked to make a research about Google Site. So in our 3 hour class, we just sit in the computer room and make a research on this project. Sithu Tun,Humaidah, Zain and me sit together to discuss about this project. We agree to use one Gmail account only which is Sithu’s account to create the website.

WeEk 11 . . ! !

Finally, we can use our class at the ICT building since the air-conditioner already working. However, we just study about database and Microsoft Office Access. Actually, this is my first time I heard about Microsoft Access. So, it is a bit difficult for me to understand how it does work. However, I start to understand it when I’m doing the exercise that sir Azzamudin gave to use. I took almost one hour to finish the exercise. But it doesn’t matter because I can get more understanding when I do the exercise. And this kind of exercise also quite fun since all of us doesn’t know how to use Microsoft Access.

WeEk 12 . . ! !

Indeed, in this week we don’t have a class on Wednesday because of holiday. So we decide to replace the class on Monday at 3.00-4.00 p.m. Practice make perfect. =) We have a short quiz where it will provide 5% mark for our exam. We cannot discuss, or even look at the slide. We have only 2 hour class. Before finish the class, we have to give our URL of our blog to Sir Azzamudin. By the way, this is our last week in this semester because next week we are going to have our final exam. Then, we will have our 2 week holiday before start our 3^rd semester.

First of all I would like to thanks to God because I was given the opportunity to study at AIU. In the last semester, we have been exposed to the knowledge of ICT. This year, we will learn about the knowledge of IT. Through this blog, I can do revision or rewrite my understanding about IT that I have learned while in class. A blog is a great way to save time, easy and effective way to measure the level of understanding of the lecturers for their students. IT really is the use of computers and software to manage information.
